Pendants
Late Summer, Late Afternoon, oil and sand on canvas. 28"x22" each, they have a rough surface that has a bit of a pattern in a couple of places where I used a roller which creates its own texture in addition to the sand. It is most effective in the water areas. This is to be framed in furniture grade oak 1x2", with dark finish, with a matching small wooden divider, with the total size being 30"x46.5". Framed as described, the painting will provide the viewer with a window onto a very deep looking view imbued with a rosy glow. The foreground bushes on the left panel echo the trees on the hilltop in the distance that I call "cat & dog", for obvious reasons, I hope.

Spring Sunrise
36"x48", oil and sand on canvas,
a similar view as above, this painting is the most perfect balance of somber dark and light with pretty color and charm. It is lovely without being cornball and is
momentous without being dreary.

Winter, Looking North at sunset
36"x48", oil and sand on canvas,
a pendant to the painting above, this painting takes the edge off a winter evening - the bare trees glow in the amber light

Bas Relief

this looks like painted bronze with a rustic pine frame

Southwest Corner,
oil and sand on canvas, 36"x30", This painting very successfully uses the sand. You can see the warm and cool purples in the underpainting and the greens and yellows are scumbled onto the bumps. This painting marks my first attempt to show the shadows crossing over the reflections which really emphasizes the surface of the water.

Last Light,
30x24" this painting captures that warm tinted evening light just before sunset. The "lit" areas (orange) are painted in thin, articulated glazes that truly glow behind the opaque greys and greens. I have been keeping it for myself as a personal favorite, but have allowed my shortage of storage space to convince me to part with it.
