It's been a rather drab fall this year - hot and dry. The grass and leaves
turned gold and tan with only the maples blushing red and orange.
Still the season is poetic in it's momentousness with the dramatic
long shadows and the shortening dark days foreboding Winter.

This is a very safe way to have a slide show for most browsers, except just a few old ones.
Alternately you could have a frame based set-up which does require some scrolling, but is
