Daily Paintings and "Irons in the Fire" This is stuff from the end of December and early January. Some are irons in the fire, some brand new and some are salvaged from paintings that didn't turn out in previous attempts, while others are experiments and testing palettes. This is an experiment, and so far I am uncomfortable posting unfinished work and work that was done as play or that was not intended for public display. |

Hickory Nut Mtn. This is salvaged from an overworked canvas. I am never sure whether to give up or persisit and make something work. I have on occasion persisted to no avail so it was sweet relief to have this "come out" with just a small amount of work. |
