Daily Paintings and "Irons in the Fire"
I haven't been painting much at all - too busy shopping for new digs
and planning a gallery - just didn't feel up to it
about the gallery

PAPSE WORKSHOP PHOTOS

MY OUTPUT AT PAPSE:

I switched to oils for the workshop - forgot how messy they are - also had wind blow stuff on them, got bugs stuck in them and dropped one on the palette and they got messed up in the truck overnight.
They look very pale - maybe I am waiting for them to dry a couple of shades darker like acrylics do -
or is it the titanium white that I am not used to? Or was it the bright glare of the S.GA sun?

Canal in Marsh

Paintings done with Roger's mountain demo: 1 bit the palette, 2 was too blue, 3 was too grey
Working with Roger Dale Brown I did 5 paintings of various sizes - do-overs of do-overs on the mountain pic - very interesting subject for me (just bought house in mts.) and also nice to worry about making the painting work instead of getting overwhelmed by trying to paint everything like it is

Gavin Brooks and Larry Moore both did great demos and I learned alot from them too.
