Paintings available Fall 2007 Some are brand new and some were started last year (or even before) and just had finishing touches added - I am definitely into bright greens and a golds, sort of going back and forth and combining |

Under the Hemlock This represents a more successful version of the painting below. It is taking me months (May - Aug.) to come up with the images I am trying to produce - better late than never. I am striving to capture the essence of the place and also present fresh views and compositions that are at least a little bit off the beaten path. Here I have used the rake brush for the Hemlock. A second version of the horizontal compostion is underway and also includes the fish under the tree and just a bit less of the island and more of the laurel bush than the painting below. |

Golden Evening,I this was the first try and inspired me to do more in acrylic. I have officially crossed the line of being more effective and more comfortable with the acrylic. Even so this has a tactile quality due to the carving in the thick paint in the foreground |
